Gu Gu Sushi [adrotate group=\”6\”] Specialty Rolls Gu Gu Sushi is my go to place when I want to blow someone away. I have taken so many people here and everyone walks away with the same, \”we have to do that again\” response. I let the first time visitor pick whatever they want, because the most mediocre roll I ever had there was pretty dang good. If you like sushi, and are close to Hermosa Beach, do yourself a favor. You can thank me later. [adrotate group=\”1\”]
Cruising up PCH in Santa Monica on my Harley-Davidson Night Train. January 3 and 75 degrees at the beach.
Well, Buddy decided to cooperate today, so he gets in today\’s pic with me. Can you believe I got a dog that hates getting his picture taken? He was trying to eat the camera when I got this shot.
Desert Skies [adrotate group=\”6\”] LA to Vegas I am a Native Californian, 5th generation, and proud of it. Why? Because this state has some of the most beautiful scenery anywhere. One of the most overlooked places in my opinion, is the Mojave Desert. These pictures were taken on February day on the way to Las Vegas. I love that drive, but this day had skies that were amazing. Just wish I had a better camera at the time. [adrotate group=\”1\”]
Sunday Ride [adrotate group=\”6\”] LA Harbor, Walker\’s Cafe and Pt Fermin This was my Sunday ride on December 27. I stopped by the LA Harbor but they were not very camera friendly due to 9/11. I guess the terrorists win since I can\’t take advantage of the cool shots that should be available. After I got kicked out of there I headed over to Walker\’s Cafe on Pt Fermin. It is a popular gathering spot for bikers and offers some nice coastal views. [adrotate group=\”1\”]
Here we are going through the Santa Monica tunnel dropping us off on PCH in Santa Monica. I am on my Night Train, Phil on his ElectraGlide, Daniel on his FatBoy with Edson on his Yamaha.
The challenge here is going to be trying to come up with 365 different scenarios for these pics. Some may be more disturbing than others. This could be one of those instances.
My son and a couple friends joined me for my Sunday ride this week. Destination, Neptune\’s Net. It was a perfect day for a ride, and hard to believe it was January 3. Here we are headed west on the I-10 about to hit the Pacific Coast Hwy in Santa Monica.
Neptune\’s Net [adrotate group=\”6\”] Sunday ride to Neptune\’s Net and Sagebrush Cantina I work hard, so I make it a point to go for a bike ride every Sunday that I am in town. Today\’s destination was up Hwy 1 to the County Line between Los Angeles and Ventura, specifically, Neptune\’s Net. My son, one of his buddies and an old friend of mine joined me. For being January 3, you could not ask for a nicer day. It was so nice that we did not want to go home after having lunch at Neptune\’s Net, so we stopped by …
