National Veterans Mural [adrotate group=\”6\”] West Los Angeles VA Center Last week, you may have seen the video I took of a mural at the VA medical center in West Los Angeles. I decided to submit it to CNN\’s iReport, and they felt it was worthy enough to contact me in their vetting process to validate the video. They asked if I had additional photos, which I did, but only a couple and they were taken with my point and shoot, from my bike. Today I went back with my Canon Rebel and took some higher quality photos. [adrotate group=\”1\”]
Buddy is a dog that people look at. He always has a big smile and most of the time he is a very clean and shiny. He used to get comments about his ears, but his coat gets the compliments now. Day 63 of Project 365.
Day 62 of Project 365 has Buddy and I showing our best sides.
Day 61 of Project 365 opens with the discovery of crop circles hitting Torrance. I have a feeling this is going to be a weird month.
There are certain things that transgress language barriers. Some things, that no matter the language are just understood. You have chocolate, love and Harley-Davidson. Today, Harley-Davidson helped create a new friendship. I like that. Day 60 of Project 365 and the first day of March 2010.

Luckily, the journey is more important than the destination, as the brewery had their lease yanked a couple days earlier. [adrotate group=\”1\”]
My son and I were headed up to Santa Barbara, when I noticed a problem with his bike around West LA. We were in a pretty lousy part of town to try and find a place to work on a motorcycle. Soon we came upon the wide open arms of the VA medical center, with ample parking out of the way of everyone. Daniel took care of his issue and we headed out. To get back on Wilshire we had to go under it. This is what we found. Do yourself a favor, use the full screen mode. I think …
Project 365 [adrotate group=\”6\”] The month of February February 2010 is drawing to a close. I know it was only 28 days long, but it sure seemed to fly by quickly. February was a pretty slow month for me in that I did not really do much in the way of traveling. Went on a couple nice bike rides with Daniel, to Solvang and Santa Barbara. Tried a little whale watching, but they were not cooperating with me. The month ended with the closing of a pretty nice business deal, so the future looks rosy. Am looking forward to the …
February 28. This month flew by. This is up in Santa Barbara. Daniel and I on our Sunday ride. Day 59 of Project 365.
